The course fee does not include accommodation, but there are plenty of Hotels and Bed & Breakfasts close by.
Satisfactory completion of this course will lead to membership of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants (*membership is optional and currently costs £85 for lifetime membership)

Terri Shanks is a highly experienced Wedding & Funeral Celebrant having conducted over 3000 ceremonies. Her personal training saw her travelling the globe to study under some of the world’s leading Celebrants, Bereavement Specialists & Celebrant Trainers. Terri was also fortunate to attend the first ever International Convention of Celebrants in America.
Course Leader and Training Manager for Scotland
Lita spent over 30 years working in the public and voluntary sectors; initially as a teacher; with a PGCE degree after achieving a BSc, and then as a safeguarding coordinator; with a CQSW degree, a Social Care Manager; with a Management Qualification, and during that time was a consultant and trainer; with a Training the Trainer Qualification.
Since completing her Marriage and Family Celebrancy training with Terri, Claire has gone on to be a successful and sought-after celebrant in the Sussex area. South East Regional winner and National Winner of ‘Celebrant of the Year 2018’ in The Wedding Industry Awards and content editor for the European Celebrants’ Collective, she is passionate about promoting the visibility of celebrants in society.
